  1. So this is not a standard 1600 Jelly Roll quilt pattern.
What were the lengths and did you piece each row. Did you sew the left horizontal stripes, then the two vertical stripes and then the long horizontal stripes so in the end you had 5 big pieces to sew together?

    1. I actually wrote this pattern. It is called Between the Lines by Sweet Jane's. If you Google it you will find me somewhere.

  4. I'm guessing she used a jelly roll and sewed the strips together side by side. Except for a few that she used as the vertical strips. The horizontal section made from the jelly roll strips was cut vertically into 3 pieces: 1 center piece and two small pieces for the outside. Sew the unused strips end to end; cut into 4 pieces to use as the vertical stripes. You can count the rows and that will tell you how many pieces she used. Most jelly rolls are 2-1/2" strips. Assuming this is the case and 1/4" seams, multiply the rows by 2" and that will give you the length. The width is probably close to 50". (42" length of jelly roll strips + 8" for vertical stripes)

    1. she sewed 32 strips horizontally which makes it 64" long. Also she cut the remaining strips into 4 equal lengths before she sewed them end to end
